Trunnion ball valves are quarter-turn valves used to stop or start the flow of a media in a pipe. The most common type of ball valve has a “free floating” design, so the trunnion type is a design change. Within a trunnion ball valve the ball connects to the stem on one end and on the other end a shaft called the trunnion. Due to this design change, the ball is held firmly in place. In a floating ball valve, the ball is only connected to the stem, and is therefore called floating. This is illustrated in Figure 1 and highlighted by a red box.

Trunnion ball design is the lower operating torque, ease of operation, minimized seat wear (Stem/ball isolation prevents side loading and wear of downstream seats improving performance and service life), superior sealing performance at both high and low pressure (a separate spring mechanism and upstream line pressure is used as the sealing against the stationary ball for low pressure and high pressure m applications).
The trunnion is available for all sizes and for all pressure classes but they are not suitable for throttling purposes.

1. TT Terms: The payment will be 30% of prepayment by direct bank remittance (T/T),remaining 70% before Shipment or the copy of BL send by us Via Fax or Email.

2. L/C Terms: Payment by L/C at sight and Unrestricted. (L/C must allow 30days minimum from the shipment date of presentation of documents for negotiation, all the clauses within L/C must be clear, concise and acceptable. Do not allow special clauses, terms and conditions.)
